We're looking for volunteers to support the Hall for either one-off or regular activities including: - maintenance/spring clean days; - lawn-mowing; - booking officers to support the bookings secretary letting visitors in and out of the Hall; - Administration, management and governance support; - Supporting packing up and putting away at our fortnightly bingo - a popular event for our more elderly community members; - General committee membership; - Sponsorship. We've a new calendar on our website that shows you what is going on in the Village Hall. Not only will this support the community to engage in activities already happening at the Hall, but we hope may encourage others to identify time-slots that are regularly free so that they an be booked for your own activities. The Calendar may also be helpful to other groups in our community including parents and organisers of events at Stanton Primary School allowing any potential clashes over car-park use to be avoided.
