Book a 5 hour function room or party at Stanton Village Hall near to Burton upon Trent (Staffordshire) and Swadlincote (Derbyshire, DE15). See our other durations here THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK Setup and Clean Away Time You'll need to book enough time to setup and cleanup. We are open by appointment only so the Hall will be opened at your start time and be locked at the time your hire ends. Leave it as you found it We kindly ask that you leave the Hall in the clean and tidy condition that you found it, and place chairs and tables back. Tables and Chairs We have lots of rectangular and square tables - over a dozen 6ft tables, 8 x 3 ft tables and over 100 chairs. One bag of rubbish One standard sized black rubbish bag can be placed in our external black bin, any rubbish beyond that must be taken away with you (bags beyond this will be charged from your deposit at £5 per bag). Cleaning Materials We have mops, spray, clothes, tea towels and a hoover for you to use at the end of hire so you don't have to think about packing those. Donations of cleaning materials to our charity accepted too. Car Parking Use of our generous car park and around 20 spaces (note: we have 2 nearby residents who pay to use our car park and so do not offer this as entirely vacant). Bouncy Castles Your hire includes extra energy you might use if you hire a bouncy castle provider or disco (some other halls charge for this) Kitchen Hire includes use of our kitchen which has cups, fridge, two kettles and Tassimo coffee machine and microwave, tea towels and washing up liquid. Getting Into the Hall Function/one-off hirers will be let into the Hall at the start of their booking time. The Hall will be locked at the end of your booking time. Damages Deposit We check the hall at the end and refund your deposit via the method paid within 72 hours if all is left clean and undamaged. See T&Cs. You'll receive reminders about a week before your hire. Add bookings@villagehallstanton.com to your safe senders list. Upto 120 guests but we'd advise 80-90 max for comfort. Your Damages Deposit will be returned within 72 hours providing all is well and in line with our T&Cs. Our cancellation policy is outlined in our T&Cs or on the booking page. What's included Number of hire hours: 8 Before 6pm Use of kitchen, main hall, rear garden and car park. Kitchen includes cups, fridge, Tassimo machine and microwave. Lots of tables and chairs. Cleaning equipment available to use, hand sanitisers and washing up liquid in situ. Leave upto 1 standard bin bag of waste with us (additional bags will be charged at £5 from your deposit). Rules and Exclusions Hall must be left as found (cleaned and tidied). Tape and tac should only be use on trims and not on paintwork or external doors . Most halls do not allow tape.
