Welcome to the website for Stanton Village Hall (DE15).

We're a volunteer-run venue and charity, based between Burton-upon-Trent and Swadlincote.

 

Our Hall and Pop-up shop/meeting room space are available for hire. 

We have two rooms available to book:

Main Hall

The main village hall. Great for kids parties, AGMs and exercise classes. 

Our Stage Door Room

Our small meeting room and pop-up shop space suitable for upto 3-4 people.

The Hall is ideal for:

Children's Birthday Parties

Coffee mornings and hobby groups

The Stage Door room is ideal as:

A small flexible pop-up shop space

A quiet desk space

A small meeting room

Hire fees comprise of:

The Hire Fee + 

£11 /hr for regular hirers

£15 /hr for one-off/function hirers

£250 for weekend hire (Fri pm-Sun)

Discounts for community groups and charities at the Management Committees discretion.

Surcharges +

+£10 if you'll be using our power for discos or bouncy castles.

(£5 regular hirers)

+£10 if alcohol will be served.

+£5 if using kitchen.

+£5 if using stage.

 

Surcharges are added per session. (not per hour)

£5 discount if using Abi's Entertainments (bouncy hire).

Damages deposit

A £50 damages deposit will apply to all bookings. This is refundable in line with our Terms and Conditions. 

For regular hirers we will keep this deposit on file until your hire contract concludes.

Larger parties or weekend hire will require a £100 deposit

At present we're not accepting adult party bookings with the exception of weekend-long hire. 

Minimum hire period of 4 hours on a weekend. 

Cancellation terms apply. However, COVID cancellations receive a full refund.

We usually respond within one-day. 

Throughout 2020 and 2021, we've been updating the Hall with new decor, heating, blinds and furniture, and hope to continue updating the Hall so it can be future-fit for our community.
