We are open by appointment only so the Hall will be opened at your start time and be locked at the time your hire ends. Leave it as you found it We kindly ask that you leave the Hall in the clean and tidy condition that you found it, and place chairs and tables back. Tables and Chairs We have lots of rectangular and square tables - over a dozen 6ft tables, 8 x 3 ft tables and around 80 chairs. One bag of rubbish One standard sized black rubbish bag can be placed in our external black bin, any rubbish beyond that must be taken away with you (bags beyond this will be charged from your deposit at £5 per bag). Cleaning Materials We have mops, spray, clothes, tea towels and a hoover for you to use at the end of hire so you don't have to think about packing those. Donations of cleaning materials to our charity accepted too. Car Parking Use of our generous car park and around 20 spaces (note: we have 2 nearby residents who pay to use our car park and so do not offer this as entirely vacant). Bouncy Castles Your hire includes extra energy you might use if you hire a bouncy castle provider or disco (some other halls charge for this) Kitchen Hire includes use of our kitchen which has cups, fridge, two kettles and Tassimo coffee machine and microwave, tea towels and washing up liquid. Getting Into the Hall Function/one-off hirers will be let into the Hall at the start of their booking time. The Hall will be locked at the end of your booking time. Sorry but we do not welcome wild parties at our venue after a number of incidents and abuse towards our building, volunteers and neighbours. We are a predominantly volunteer-run charity and simply can't put our volunteers or the Hall at risk, nor expect them to deal with related incidents. But - if you are looking for a relaxed venue for a well-behaved get-together then we can help - We would advise a maximum of around 90 guests. The Hall can be open until 11.30pm with music stopping by 11pm. We do not have a bar or bar provider and you will need to apply to the local authority for a Temporary Events Notice if undertaking licensable activity (more here ) Our booking system will take you through available dates once you've chosen your duration.
